Dr. Bob Erickson
Dr. Bob Erickson graduated from Iowa State University with his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1982. He and his wife Colette built Mountain View Veterinary Clinic in 1994. Dr. Erickson says after 40 years of practicing he still enjoys doing what he does because of the clients. When Dr. Erickson isn’t at the clinic he is spending time with his family.
Dr. Brooke Schlake
Dr. Brooke Schlake is an Idaho native, she graduated from WSU with her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2013. After graduating she worked in emergency for 7 ½ years. During her time at WSU she worked in the ICU department. Although emergency medicine can be hard Dr. Schlake valued the cases where she would turn a case with a poor prognosis around. Dr. Schlake has been a part of the Mountain View team since 2021. When she is not working she is busy spending time with her husband, 3 children and her Border Collie mix, Orca.
Dr. Jessica McGreal
Dr. McGreal was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene. She completed her undergraduate at Whitworth University in Spokane, and graduated with her doctorate of veterinary medicine from WSU in 2017. After graduating, she worked at a mixed animal practice for 2 years, which led her to joining the Mountain View team in 2019. Dr. McGreal was a part of the Mountain View team prior to vet school when she worked as an assistant at the clinic. She enjoys spending time with her husband, young son Lou, and her Heeler Pip and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities north Idaho has to offer.
Dr. Chaley Rider
Dr. Rider grew up in western Washington. She went to Seattle Pacific University for her undergraduate. She graduated with her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2012 from WSU. During her time at WSU she was the president of the Christian Veterinary Fellowship and a part of the Dentistry Club. After graduation she worked for 4 years in Great Falls, Montana. Dr. Rider has been a part of the Mountain View team since 2016. She loves the diversity of veterinary medicine, she gets to do something different daily! When Dr. Rider is not working she enjoys spending time with her 3 children and husband. They all enjoy camping and boating around our beautiful area. Dr. Rider has two dogs, Benja and Wyatt and a cat, Gibson.
